Datakorum successfully integrates its Smart Water Gateways into Minsait’s Onesait platform

Aguas de Bixquert has deployed through Minsait, an Indra company, Datakorum’s Smart Water gateways PIPE20 NB-IoT and PIPE WQ NB-IoT in order to remotely monitor the water consumption and pressure of the distribution network as well as the water quality in the Partida de Bixquert in Xàtiva.

The reading of the pulse flow meter is done through the Gateway PIPE20P NB-IoT and through the pressure sensor integrated in the device simultaneously measures the pressure in the pipe, transmitting the data remotely via NB-IoT wireless communication to the Onesait platform.

For the remote measurement of the water quality in the supply tank, a PIPE WQ NB-IoT Gateway has been installed with a professional water quality probe, autonomously taking daily readings of Ph, Redox and temperature and sending the information to the platform also via NB-IoT.

If any of the measured parameters exceeds the alarm thresholds set for each of them, the system generates an alarm warning the person in charge of the installation on the platform.

Thanks to NB-IoT technology, we obtain excellent coverage in interiors, basements and manholes, allowing efficient and secure communications as well as high battery life, ideal for devices that generate low data traffic and need a long life cycle.
