KROHNE Messtechnik presents a solution that integrates DATAKORUM’s 5G communication technology at IFAT 2022 in Munich

At IFAT 2022 in Munich, the world’s leading trade fair for water and wastewater management, KROHNE Messtechnik presents a solution that integrates DATAKORUM’s technology for providing NB-IoT connectivity to its flowmeters.

Thanks to 5G (NB-IoT) communication, KROHNE’s flowmeters connect to the digital platform wirelessly, allowing infrastructure managers to securely and accurately obtain real-time data.

DATAKORUM‘s device management system, Trango IoT, which provides the user with complete configuration and diagnostics of the deployed devices, is an integral part of the new digital platform KROHNE is to launch in the upcoming months.

The convenience and benefit of this setup has already been proven in the field, with water utilities in Germany as well as in Abu Dhabi, where we enabled the KROHNE flowmeters to connect to ETISALAT’s AMI platform.
